In Athens, Piraeus, the suburbs and environs, are a multitude of important museums and archaeological sites. The list below includes a selection of museums. The Acropolis is open: In Winter: From Nov 1st to March 31st: 08:30-15:00 - In Summer: 08.00-19.00 Acropolis entrance ticket: 12 euros per person The Acropolis ticket can be used for a few days (7-8 days) after its purchase for more archaeological sites, which are quoted on the Acropolis ticket itself (Roman Market, Ancient Agora, Temple of Zeus, Kerameikos, Dionysos sanctuary).
