Day trip in Athens

Our driver with his vehicle will be waiting at the exact spot that you have arranged according to the scheduled time of your appointment.

Our tour begins from the most famous round about (square) of Athens, Syndagma square (constitution square). There you will see some of the city’s most prestigious hotels facing the imposing Greek parliament.

Following we will proceed via Philellinon street towards the historical site of Hadrian’s Arch which during the Roman Empire separated the city of Athens into two sectors: Eastern Roman Athens & Western Greek Athens.

Precisely behind Hadrian’s Arch located is the historical temple of Olympian Zeus. Up until today we can still find 15 columns, which you can visit up closely after a short stop.We then head towards the Kalimarmaro Stadium where the first Olympic Games were held in 1896. We shall have a short stop for photographs and admire the architecture.

Our tour will continue via Erodou Atticus Street where the presidential mansion and the prime minister’s residence are located. A short stop will give you the chance to see the change of the Presidential Guard with their distinctive traditional uniforms.

Continuing our tour we find the Zapion Megaro and following the Unknown Soldier’s monument.

Heading towards the city centre through Panepistimiou Street we will see the Catholic Church, the University and the Athens Academy as well as the National Library. We will make a brief stop in order to admire the architecture of the buildings.

Our route will continue towards the Old Parliament situated at Stadiou Street where we find the statue of Kolokotronis, mounted on his horse, one of the most important figures of the Greek independence against the Turks in 1821.

We will then visit the Acropolis the birthplace of human civilization and the Archaeological Museum of Athens. Here the vehicle will stop for two hours in order for you to admire up close one of the nominated New Seven Wonders of the World.

After visiting the Acropolis our next stop will be Lycabettus Hill. Here you find the highest point of Athens with a panoramic view. If you wish you may have a coffee break at one of the cafe’s.

Finally we end our tour by visiting the most important Museum, the New Museum of Acropolis. There you will have the opportunity to admire the greatest artifacts and the history of Greek civilization.

The vehicle will wait for you in order to return you from where you were picked up.
